Whilst exploring Rotterdam's Het Nieuwe Insituut, I came across Rozendaal's Screensaver Projection Installation, which led me to researching his work. He has several installations incorporating colour, sound, simple animation and broken mirrors which related very strongly to the ideas I had devloped for our installation.

PLAY
Being given the oppurtunity of chosing our installation to be based around the theme of HOME, WORK or PLAY, our team discussed and decided to pick Play. As we put in research and found that it is a too often forgotten method of idea stimulation, development of character and confidence, and a time of lesiure that is not provided to many busy working adults giving us a new area, or "gap in the market" to target.
COLOUR PSYCHOLOGY
Our interest in the study of how colour impacts human behaviour and emotion was a large part of influence to the design choices we made. We wanted to make a space which could be user controlled and could also be a form of research around colour and it's effects
